How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

XIII on Xbox has a single cheat code plus a set of hidden skill upgrades found through Important Documents during the story. Everything below is earned or unlocked in-game.
Carnage Mode: In the Secret code section, type 1984 to unlock Carnage Mode, which starts you with every weapon, 99 rounds of ammo for each, and a different outfit for the main character.
Level Select: Complete the game once to unlock the level selection feature so you can replay any level.

| Sixth Sense and Stunning skills | Open your safe in Winslow Bank and pick up the briefcase containing two Important Documents. |
| Dual Weapons skill | In Emerald Base, in the locker room just before the shaft to Carington's cell, open the last locker on the right for an Important Document. |
| Lockpicking skill | On Kilownee Lake, check the second boat after the Mongoose leaves to find an Important Document. |
| First Aid skill | In Plain Rock, escape through the vent then return to the prison cells and find the Important Document behind a door. |
| Silent Walk skill | In the SPADS camp, look inside the small control room on the far left where the man is singing. |
| Sniper skill | In the SPADS camp, search the back of the brown tent where you plant the bug; an earlier document also sits near the cable car dock. |
Sniping Tip: In sniper mode zoom in and leave the sticks untouched for about five seconds until the sway settles, giving you perfect dead aim.
Free Ammo: Wait until an enemy reloads his weapon, then kill him before he fires and you will receive a full magazine for your weapon.
Easter Egg: At the start of the FBI level, head to the centre of the room with the three computers to find the Ubisoft logo running as a screensaver. Walk up to the screen and press A for a GAME OVER message.
