How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

World Series Baseball has no cheat codes on the Xbox. The medals below are earned through franchise mode play, and there is one handy trading exploit.

| Batting Champ | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for batting average. |
| Big Spender | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for points spent. |
| Cellar Dweller | Complete franchise mode in the bottom three teams for wins. |
| Dominant Team | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for wins. |
| Golden Slugger | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for home runs. |
| Great Glove | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for fielding percentage. |
| Pitching Ace | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for earned run average. |
| Speed Demon | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for stolen bases. |
| Strikeout King | Complete franchise mode in the top three teams for strikeouts. |
| Tightwad | Complete franchise mode in the bottom three teams for points spent. |
Get the best players: In season or franchise mode, offer trades for the best players and then override their rejections if they refuse.
Classic uniforms: Go to the Setup screen and change the Uniform selection from Standard to Classic.
