How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

UFC Tapout 2 on the original Xbox has no button codes; every cheat below is an unlockable earned through Championship, Arcade or Legend mode.

| Carthy | Win the Silver belt with all characters in Championship mode. |
| Larry Landless | Win the Silver belt with all characters except one in Championship mode. |
| Bruce Buffer | Win 33 consecutive matches in Arcade mode. |
| Frank Fertitta | Lose 66 bouts in Arcade mode. |
| Mask | Win the Gold belt with all but one regular character in Legend mode. |
| Skyscrape | Win the Gold belt with all regular characters in Legend mode. |
Mask the quick way: In Arcade mode, when the best record screen appears, press Right, Left, Right, Left, then X and Y together to unlock Mask without grinding Legend mode.
Extra fighters: Every streak of five consecutive wins unlocks the next fighter in line, so keep winning to open up the full roster.
