How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Triple Play 2002 has no button codes on Xbox. The following bonuses are unlocked by performing feats during a game or by naming a created player.
| Unlockable | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Big ball | Get three strikeouts in one game. |
| Bigger ball | Get six strikeouts in one game. |
| Big bat | Hit two consecutive home runs. |
| Big glove | Catch a home run ball as it is going over the fence. |
| Fast players | Steal three bases with the same player in one game. |
| Small players | Get more than eleven hits in one game. |
| Super defence | Turn three double plays in one game. |
| Grand slam hitter | Enter SLUGGER as a created player's name. |
| 110 mph pitches | Enter STRONG ARM as a created player's name. |
Home run sounds: Press X while running the bases after hitting a home run to hear a foghorn sound in the stands.
