Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Chaos Theory has no traditional button cheats on Xbox. It does have a profile code, a few unlockable modes, handy keypad codes for locked doors, and plenty of in-game tricks.
All levels: Create a new profile named COOPA22COOL to unlock every level, including all of the co-op missions. Alternatively, in the solo or co-op menus hold the Left and Right Triggers and press X five times.
| Unlockable | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Elite difficulty | Complete the solo story mode. |
| Elite mode (co-op) | Clear the co-op story mode. Both spies start with no ammo for the SC-20K or SC pistol and must scavenge it in the levels. |
| Full Equipment mode | Complete the game at least once, then enable it in the Extras section for infinite ammunition and gadgets. |

Cameras in the dark: Cameras that do not use thermographic vision can be fooled by shooting out the ambient and direct light sources in an area. As long as your light meter reads completely dark, normal cameras cannot see you.
Sticky camera reuse: Sticky cameras can be recovered and reused as long as they were not destroyed by gunfire and did not fire their gas charge.
North Korean UAVs: UAVs are tough to destroy, but one well placed shot from the sniper attachment anywhere on the body brings them down.
Choke hold to fireman's carry: Hold the Left Trigger while grabbing an enemy to choke hold him, then immediately hoist the body onto your spy's shoulder for a fireman's carry.
Knife attack to fireman's carry: Hold the Right Trigger while standing behind an enemy to knife him, then carry the body away.
Stun punch to fireman's carry: While standing behind an enemy, hold the Left Trigger for a non-lethal punch that flows straight into the carry. Note it still counts as a knockout, so do not use it on anyone who must stay conscious for an objective.
Hokkaido Milan Nedich objective: Inspect the licence plates on the two SUVs, either up close or remotely through the EEV binoculars, to learn the real Milan Nedich.
Displace Milan Nedich objective: Zoom in with the EEV and laser mic the conversation on the third floor penthouse, aiming the binoculars at the glass. This is the only way to get credit for listening in.
Dvorak's output: Keep speaking to the old man until the conversation clears and he walks to the area with two of the five tubes. Hit each tube's switch as its light turns from green to orange, before it overheats red.
Metal Gear Solid easter egg: Guards in the Kokubo Sosho basement carry less-than-lethal stunguns. Interrogate one about his zapping toy for an amusing dig at a certain other stealth hero.
Kokubo Sosho bonus objective: During the final part of the stage, hack the server before you destroy it to complete the bonus objective.
