How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Pause the game during a single player mission, hold LB and enter the following codes. The bullet tracer code is entered at the pause screen while hosting an online match.

| Third person view | Hold LB and press X, B, X, B, click the Left Analog-stick twice, press Y, A, Y, A, then click the Right Analog-stick twice. GI John Doe mode: While hosting an online game, press Start, hold LB and click the Left Analog-stick twice, press A, click the Right Analog-stick twice, press B, click the Left Analog-stick twice, press X, click the Right Analog-stick twice, then press Y. Rainbow bullets turn neon blue and terrorist bullets turn neon red. Multiplayer weapons in single player: Play a mission in multiplayer co-op mode, kill a terrorist armed with the SPAS 12, Deagle or MG36 and pick up the weapon. Finish the mission with it to unlock it in the single player equipment menu. Smoke grenade tip: Equip the thermal goggles before throwing a smoke grenade to see clearly through the cloud. Fremont Street easter egg: On Fremont Street, look for a bottle of Axe cologne on a ledge and shoot it. The neon roof of the Fremont Street Experience will display a hidden animation. Secret lab tip: Before telling Jung to hack the computer, send your team to the far side of the room near the fenced area. They will take out most of the enemies that pour in once the hack begins. |

Lt. Developer tips: Follow the OPA loop. Observe enemies with the snake cam under doors, Plan your entry using the tactical map and prioritise targets, then Assault by ordering the team in while you enter through a second point.
