How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Enter these codes during gameplay on the Xbox version. Punch in the cheat gnome code first, then any of the others. A Sim voice confirms each correct entry, and entering a code again switches it off.

| Team picture | R, Black, Down Extra money: Enter the gnome code, pause at home, then enter the money code. Select the gnome and choose Give Money for 10,000 Simoleons each time. Hold R to speed up time and repeat to fill your bank. All locations: This code only works after your Sim wakes up at Mom's house following the opening dream sequence. Boosting a low budget: At Mom's house, Mimi's place or Dudley's trailer, buy things until your budget drops below 100 Simoleons, then wait about an hour and answer the phone for free money. Raise motives: In later levels, move back to Mom's house. The Artificial Love there makes raising motives much easier. Never work: In Bustin' Out mode the housemates you control cannot be fired, so they can stay home to clean and skill up while your main Sim works.
