How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Subnautica on Xbox One has a hidden developer console that accepts most of the PC commands. It is disabled by default and entering any command marks the save and stops achievements unlocking on it.
Open the console: Pause the game and press LB, RB and A at the same time to add a Developer option to the pause menu, then select it and tick the console box. On some builds LB + RB + A on the pause screen needs to be pressed twice before the option appears.
How commands work: Type the command into the box and confirm it. Item and blueprint names are one word in lowercase, so the Survival Knife is simply knife.
