How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Steel Battalion: Line of Contact is an Xbox Live multiplayer game, so it has no conventional single-player cheat codes. Most of its locked content was gated behind an official unlock code that required the now-defunct Xbox Live service.
TEKKI unlock code: In October 2005 Capcom released an official code that unlocked all 31 VTs and all 25 missions for Free Mission mode. It was entered on the Controller Verify screen while connected to Xbox Live, using the 3x3 button matrix on the centre block of the controller. The code no longer functions now that the original Xbox Live servers are offline, and it never applied to System Link play.
System Link unlocks: Without the unlock, System Link only offers 4 VTs and 4 maps. Community-made save and CONFIG.DAT files for modded consoles restore the full roster for System Link and tunnelling services such as XLink Kai.
Clip dumping: Hold the Main Weapon button on the aiming lever and rapidly tap Magazine Change to dump every magazine of a multi-magazine weapon such as the 430-SB in one burst. Devastating damage, but it burns ammunition and is frowned upon online.
Rapid fire trick: With assault and rapid-fire weapons such as the 200 AR, 270 AR or 315 RF, tap Magazine Change immediately after firing a burst to skip the reload pause and fire again.
Pause trick: Unplug the controller mid-match to pause the game, then reconnect and press Start to resume.
