How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Spider-Man 2 has one real cheat code on Xbox, entered as a profile name, plus a repeatable way to stockpile Hero Points on an existing save.
Designer save: Start a new game and enter HCRAYERT as your name, which is developer Treyarch spelled backwards, then go back and enter any name you like. The game begins 40% complete with 201,000 Hero Points, Swing Speed and Web Zip upgrades, and the Big Game Hunter, Alien Buster, Shock Absorber and Tentacle Wrangler ranks.
Hero Point boost on an existing save: Load a saved game, select New Game and try to enter HCRAYERT as a name. The game refuses it, but when you back out of the screen your save has 201,000 Hero Points, all skills cleared and the First Day Of The Rest Of Your Life chapter. It can be repeated for more Hero Points, though upgrades must be bought again at the Spidey Store.
Final swing upgrade: Reach and complete Chapter 16. When the next chapter begins, save up 50,000 Hero Points and check the Spidey Store for the eighth swing speed upgrade.
Big jumps: For rooftop chases like the Black Cat missions, sprint with the turbo button held, fully charge a jump and release it right at the roof edge to fling yourself skyward.
