How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

SoulCalibur II has no button cheats on Xbox. Hidden characters and modes are earned by playing Weapon Master and the standard modes, and the Xbox version's exclusive guest fighter is Spawn.

| Charade | Beat the first mission of Chapter 3 in Weapon Master mode. |
| Cervantes | Beat the eastern mission of Chapter 3 in Weapon Master mode. |
| Sophitia | Beat the final dungeon of Chapter 4 in Weapon Master mode. |
| Seung Mina | Defeat her at the palace icon in the middle of Chapter 6 in Weapon Master mode. |
| Berserker | After finishing Weapon Master mode once, beat the boss of the dungeon in Subchapter 1. |
| Assassin | After finishing Weapon Master mode once, clear the crystal mine in Chapter 8 on Normal and Extra to open Subchapter 3, then beat Castle of the Damned on Normal and Extra. |
| Lizardman | Reach level 72 and clear Subchapter 2 in Weapon Master mode. |
| Extra Arcade mode | Complete Arcade mode with any character. |
| Extra Versus mode | Complete Extra Arcade mode with any character. |
| Extra Survival mode | Complete Survival mode with at least ten wins. |

Weapon demonstrations: Finish the southernmost mission of Chapter 3 in Weapon Master mode to open a road to a shop selling martial arts demos.
Alternate costume: Press Guard when selecting a character. Press L or R during a loading screen to make the announcer speak.
Spawn's fireballs: Hold Back and press Black to throw a fireball, or hold Back and press Black + White for a green fireball that pushes opponents back near an edge.
