Smashing Drive Cheats

How to use these cheats

Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Smashing Drive has no cheat codes on Xbox. Extra shifts are unlocked by working through the arcade ladder, and the tips below come straight from the cab.

Extra time in arcade mode: Each time you continue you restart with one more second on the clock, so repeated retries keep getting a little easier.
360 ramp jump: On a snowy sidewalk, powerturn just before a ramp so you slide onto it. You lose a little speed, but the ramp's boost makes it look like you are spinning through the air. It works best in head-to-head mode, where your opponent can collect the checkpoints.

Destroying monster trucks: When two cabs carrying 4x4 wheels collide, the one holding fewer power-ups is demolished. If tied on power-ups, the more damaged cab loses, then the slower one; if everything matches, the loser is picked at random.

Specific repair: If one part of the cab is damaged and you can choose between repair and crasher, take the crasher. It repairs that part and grants the power-up as well.

Terrified King Kong: During the King Kong chase, look between his legs to see his eyes and read what he is about to do next.
