Silent Hill 4 Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Silent Hill 4: The Room has no cheat codes on Xbox. All of the extras below are earned through ranks, endings and replays.

| Brand New Fear mode | Complete the game on any difficulty and save once the credits finish. |
| One Weapon mode | Finish the game with a 10-star ranking, then load the Brand New Fear save and move the cursor right onto the red mode. |
| All Weapons mode | Complete One Weapon mode with a 10-star ranking. |
| Chainsaw | Finish the game once, reload the clear save and search beside Jasper's car in the Forest World for a cut tree trunk. |
| Eileen's submachine gun | Finish with at least a 9-star ranking, then find it in Room 202 of the Apartment World in Brand New Fear mode. |
| Eileen's nurse costume | Find it in Room 303 during a Brand New Fear game and finish that run. |
| Cynthia's alternate costume | Unlock all four endings and Eileen's costume on one save, then start a new game with Eileen wearing the nurse outfit. |
Endings:
Four endings are decided by two factors: whether you clear the apartment of ghosts before the final battle, and whether Eileen survives. The results are Escape, Mother, Eileen's Death and 21 Sacraments, the last being the bad ending.
Possessed apartment: Taking the Shabby Doll lets ghosts slowly invade Room 302. Clear possessions by placing Holy Candles beside the affected item, or wear a Saint Medallion once you have one.
Sword of Obedience: Swords are limited, so do not waste them. Knock a spirit down, pin it to the floor with a sword, collect what you need, then pull the sword back out.
