How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Samurai Warriors 2 on Xbox 360 has no traditional button codes: everything below is earned in-game by clearing Musou (Story) modes, finishing Survival mode requests, or hunting down fourth weapons on higher difficulties.

Hell difficulty: Clear Musou mode with Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Tokugawa Ieyasu to unlock the hardest setting.
Fourth weapons: Each officer's ultimate weapon is earned on a specific stage played on Hard or Chaos difficulty by meeting strict kill and escort conditions, then intercepting the supply team that appears before it leaves the battlefield.
Save data bonus: Keep a save file from the original Samurai Warriors on your hard drive and Hattori Hanzou, Honda Tadakatsu and Uesugi Kenshin unlock without clearing the Musou modes listed above.
