Red Dead Redemption 2 Xbox One Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a proper cheat menu rather than button codes: you unlock cheats by typing in the phrases hidden around the world, many of them printed in the newspapers sold by vendors. Once a phrase is entered the cheat stays on your list and can be toggled on or off at will.
How to enter cheats: Pause the game, open Settings and press Y to reach the Cheats menu, then press Y again and type the phrase. Capitalisation does not matter but spelling and punctuation do.
Saving and achievements: Switching any cheat on disables both saving and achievements, so keep a clean save file to return to when you are done experimenting.
Newspaper gates: The cheats marked as needing a newspaper only activate if you have bought the right issue; most are sold in Valentine, Saint Denis or Blackwater as the story progresses.
