How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Puzzle Quest 2 has no cheat codes on Xbox 360. The entries below are a save exploit and looting tips that make gearing up much easier.
Easy chest items: When attempting a treasure chest mini-game, open Options and choose Exit Game before finishing the puzzle. You can retry the same chest as many times as you like until you get the item you want.
Rare chests: In the looting mini-game, matching four in a row spawns a normal chest and five in a row spawns a rare chest. Match low on the board to trigger heroic efforts, and nudge rare chests upward before the rising stone swallows them.
Bash everything: Use the Bash mini-game on every locked gate, door and chest you find rather than spending keys; destroying them all counts towards the Gate Hacker achievement.
