How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Pirates of the Caribbean on Xbox has four button cheats. During gameplay while on land, press the following combinations.

| Invincibility | A, Y, X, X, Y, Y, B, Y, X, A |
| Neutral Reputation | A, X, Y, X, Y, B, B, Y, B, A Raise Reputation: Use the gold cheat until you hold around 500,000 gold, then visit the church and donate 5,000 at a time to the priest. Repeated donations push your reputation up through bloke and matey to hero. Fast Money: With positive reputation and a decent commerce skill, hire an officer in a tavern and keep picking the Isn't that too much? option until the price drops into negative numbers. Avoid Cannon Fire: When you see smoke from enemy guns during a sea battle, quickly use Sail To to move to another part of your ship and the volley will miss. Run From Confrontation: If a fight on land is going badly, flee past the last point where the game loads a new area and your pursuers will not follow. |
