Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II Cheats

How to use these cheats

Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II has no button cheats on Xbox, but it does have unlockable difficulty settings and a hidden dressing room feature.

Hard Difficulty: Offline, beat either episode on Normal to unlock Hard for both episodes. Online, reach level 20.

Very Hard Difficulty: Offline, beat either episode on Hard. Online, reach level 40.

Ultimate Difficulty: Offline, beat either episode on Very Hard. Online, reach level 80.

Dressing Room: Carry at least 10,000 Meseta in your character's inventory, not in the bank, then quit. When you next load that character a Dressing Room option appears, letting you change hair style, hair colour and clothing for a 10,000 Meseta fee.

Hidden FMV: Stay idle on the Press Start screen. After the background pulses four times, an extra FMV sequence plays.

Loading Screen: While going online, move the Left Analog-stick to move the light around the screen. In the tunnel sequence the Left stick steers the tunnel and the Right stick changes its speed.

Rare Weapons: The Dragon on Hard difficulty is a good source of rare drops such as Crush Bullets and Musashis. The Yamato drops from the Dragon on Very Hard and from the Sil Dragon on Ultimate.
