How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Otogi: Myth of Demons has no button-input cheat codes on Xbox. All of the weapons below are found or earned inside the stages, and finishing the game unlocks a second play mode.

| Butterfly Staff | Destroy the plants near the start of Stage 10 and enter the hidden hallway. |
| Dragon Point | Kill 30 enemies in Stage 7. |
| Dragon Staff | Finish Stage 5 in 3:20 or better. |
| Golden Dragon | Found in the narrow passage at the start of Stage 20. |
| Holy Staff | Beat Stage 15 in 2:47 or better. |
| Jaws of Mountain | Take the narrow right-hand path in Stage 11 and cross the bridge. |
| Moonlight Sword | Free all souls in the first 28 stages. |
| Ogre's Horn | Defeat the Blaze Ogre in Stage 18. |
| Orchid Malevolence | Kill the Hydra in Stage 25. |
| Punisher | Found at the base of the hill in Stage 6. |
| Rune Scimitars | Perform a 20-hit combo in Stage 3. |
| Skylarks | Beat Stage 14 in under two minutes. |
| Staff of Duality | Found inside a tree stump in Stage 24. |
| Sword of Voracity | Kill 60 enemies in Stage 26. |
| Thunder | Look under the bridge between the middle island and the statue in Stage 22. |
| Training Sword | Perform a 400-hit combo in Stage 11. |

| House of Suzaku Level 2 | Near the gate at the top of the cliff at the start of Eternal Night (Stage 17). |
| House of Byakko Level 3 | Beat Inner Sanctum (Stage 20) in 1:39 or better. |
| House of Soryu Level 3 | Beat Lair of Fire (Stage 22) in 1:39 or better. |
Magic opposites: Opposing magic houses deal double damage to each other, while same-house magic deals half damage. Byakko (Chimera) opposes Soryu (Dragon); Genbu (Butterfly) opposes Suzaku (Phoenix).
Second play: Complete the game and choose Yes to save the cleared data. The 2nd Play option then appears, carrying over all weapons and items, letting a B attack smash strong objects and raising your stats.
