Ninja Gaiden Black Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Ninja Gaiden Black has no button-entry cheat codes, but almost everything in the game can be unlocked: five difficulty settings, extra costumes, Mission mode and even the original arcade and NES Ninja Gaiden games.

| Ninja Dog | Die three times in a row in Chapter 1, then answer yes when Ayane asks if you really give up the way of Shinobi. |
| Hard | Complete the game on Ninja Dog or Normal, or have a completed original Ninja Gaiden save on your hard drive. |
| Very Hard | Complete the game on Hard, or have Hurricane Pack 2 clear data on your hard drive. |
| Master Ninja | Complete the game on Very Hard. |

Play the classic Ninja Gaiden: Collect all 50 Golden Scarabs and hand them in at the shop to receive the Ninja Gaiden cartridge, then take it to Han's Bar and play it on the arcade cabinet. Alternatively, complete the game on Ninja Dog or Normal while carrying the Ninja Gaiden Arcade item, or complete the game on Hard, to unlock the arcade version.
Keep the blue costume: At the main menu highlight New Game, hold LT and RT together and press A to keep Ryu's original blue ninja costume for the whole game.
Hurricane Pack costumes: While selecting a stage in Master Tournament or a mission, hold Black for the Evil Ryu outfit or White for the Dead or Alive ninja outfit.
