How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

NHL 2002 has no button codes on Xbox. Its secrets come from create-a-player names and season mode progress.
All-Star teams: Finish the All-Star Game in season mode to unlock two new All-Star teams.
Barenaked Ladies: Create a player named Jim Creeggan, Tyler Stewart, Steven Page, Ed Robertson or Kevin Hearn and the game automatically adjusts his face and stats to match the band member.
Slap Shot players: Select the EA Blades team under the custom team category and create players named Reggie Dunlop, Ned Braden, Dave Carlson, Johnny Upton, Morris Wanchuk or Billy Charlebois to hear their names announced during the game.
