How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Enter the following codes at the main menu of Need for Speed: Underground on Xbox.

| All drift tracks | Right, Right, Right, Right, Left, Black, R, White |
| All sprint tracks | Up, Black, Black, Black, R, Down, Down, Down |
| Drift physics in all modes | R, Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, L Alternate codes: Some sources list the drag track code starting Left, X, Right instead of Right, X, Left, and an alternate drift track code of Left, Left, Left, Left, Right, Black, R, White. Try the alternates if the first codes do not register. |
