Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Every cheat in NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup is entered as a driver name on the Edit Driver screen. Use the first word as the first name and the second word as the last name, and note that all names are case-sensitive.

Old Old Unlimited money: After entering the Walmart NASCAR name, back out of the Edit Driver screen, then go back in and exit again with the same name in place. Each visit adds another $10,000,000. Mr.
Clean pit crew: Buy the 25,000-point platinum card to unlock the pit crew, who all wear white shirts and have bald heads.
Free Earnhardt Thunder Plate: Select Dale Earnhardt Sr. as your favourite driver and his Thunder Plate opens up for free.
Pocono: Complete a full 34-race season finishing first in every race and Pocono becomes available in track select.
