How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

In NASCAR 08 on Xbox 360, select EA Sports Extras at the main menu and choose Cheat Codes, then enter one of the following case-sensitive codes.

| RACE THE PACK | All fantasy drivers. |
| CHECKERED FLAG | All Chase mode cars. |
| EA SPORTS CAR | The EA Sports stock car. |
| EXIENT RACING | The Exient Racing cars. |
| WILLIS HALLCAR | Driver Willis Hall. |
Easy pole position: When qualifying at Daytona or Talladega, turn off the braking assists. Your car reaches maximum speed and takes pole position nearly every time. This works in all race modes.
