How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

MVP Baseball 2003 has a pair of famous create-a-player name cheats plus a stack of milestone unlockables. At the main menu go to Rosters, create a player and use one of these names.
Home Run Hitter: Enter a created player's name as Erik Kiss.
Bat Always Breaks: Enter a created player's name as Keegn Patersn, Jacob Patersn or Ziggy Patersn.

| Milestones | Break single-season records, such as over 73 home runs, over 200 hits or over 130 stolen bases with one player. |
Widescreen mode: During gameplay hold the L and R triggers for more than three seconds, then press Left to enable widescreen mode or Right to return to normal.
Easy double plays: When the CPU has runners on base and the next batter lifts a catchable ball to the outfield, leave the fielder until the last moment before taking control and making the catch. The baserunners will already be running, so you can throw them out for easy double and even triple plays.
Easy hit and run: With runners on first and third and a right-handed batter up, steal with the runner on first and push the analogue stick towards opposite field.
Easy run: With runners on first and third, steal with the man on first. As soon as the catcher's arm goes up, send the runner on third home.
Power pitchers at the plate: Add a pitcher with low stamina but a screwball or knuckleball to your roster, then pinch hit with him. He will carry a high power rating.
