MVP Baseball Cheats

How to use these cheats

Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

The Xbox MVP Baseball games have no button codes. Their famous cheats are create-a-player names, which work slightly differently in each yearly release, plus a handful of exploit tricks.

MVP Baseball 2003 names: Enter a created player's name as Erik Kiss to hit a home run almost every time. Enter a created player's name as Keegn Patersn, Jacob Patersn or Ziggy Patersn for a bat that shatters on every hit.

MVP Baseball 2004 and 2005 names: Enter a created player's name as erik kiss for a thin bat that always breaks. Enter a created player's name as keegan paterson, jacob paterson or isaiah paterson for a tiny player with a huge bat. MVP Baseball 2005 adds Katie Roy to unlock all rewards and Neverlose Sight for the Red Sox St Patrick's Day jersey.

Save exploit: Especially in the playoffs, save your season, set your lineup and simulate the result. If you lose, reload instead of saving, tweak the lineup for that pitcher and sim again. When you win, save and repeat. It is the cheapest way to cruise to a World Series without losing.

MVP points exploit: In the later games, save your profile before spending MVP points, buy a legendary player, save only the roster, then reload the profile. You keep both the points and the player.
