How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks has three real button codes entered at the main menu, plus unlockables earned in the story. A sound confirms a correctly entered code.

| Scorpion (versus mode) | In the Foundry, take the path downstairs to the left of the save point, throw an archer through the weak wall left of the doorway, then throw another into the lava and double jump off his back to reach the Ying Yang. |
| Sub-Zero (versus mode) | During the boat ride across the blood lake, run along the wall behind the lion-like statue to the left of the big door and double jump to grab the icon. |
Easy experience: when you hear the classic Toasty sound, press Down and Start to get a 1000 experience point bonus.
PAL version note: the Mortal Kombat II code and arcade bonus are not available in the European version of the game.
