How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf has no button cheat codes on Xbox. Its extras are earned through the campaign, alongside a couple of famous multiplayer tricks.

Run in space: In any pre-game lobby you can run around your base on foot. Press A to open the game details, keep the camera directly behind you and run towards the window, then press B to cancel the window just before you hit the rail. Timed right, you run straight through the wall into space. If you get stuck in the rail, keep running and wiggle left and right until you pass through.
Neurohack defence: In team matches, 'mechs carrying reactive or reflective armour should hoard those abilities specifically to throw off enemy battle armour attempting a neurohack.
Skip the Uziel: After Natalia is captured, Foster suggests swapping to the Uziel for its jumpjets. Ignore him and keep your starting 'mech, which is more powerful, and simply walk through the lakes; the water is too shallow to damage you. Just stay clear of the VTOL, as blowing it up fails the mission.
