How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Enter the following codes quickly during gameplay.

| Infinite magic (Gandalf) | X, Y, A, X, B, X Infinite Spirit: Beat the game once and find at least 12 secrets to unlock infinite spirit. The fish: Just before the second campfire with the two trolls and wolves, follow the fallen tree to the top of the hill to meet Gollum. After the cutscene he throws you a fish that replaces Aragorn's sword for the rest of the game. Full purity meter: The man in Green Hill Country asks you to collect four herbs for his tea. Finish the quest, then talk to him again and press A before he finishes speaking. The quest complete message repeats and your purity meter rises each time. Unlimited shots: At the Prancing Pony, after beating the two ruffians who stole your dagger, climb the ladder through the open window, turn right and use the Ring to reveal a platform holding an Elven and a Dwarven shot. Collect them, drop back, and take the Ring off and on to make them respawn. Moria door: When Gandalf reaches the door of Moria, press X against it and pick the chant Mellon. 21st Hall: In Moria, stand on each platform in the middle of the room, save the game, then reload. The platform stays down, so repeat for each one to leave the level. Black Riders: Sneak past riders on foot using the Ring, and hide behind rocks or nearby cover from the mounted ones. Early game: Hoard honeycombs as they are a powerful strength boost, and save your firecrackers and apples for later enemies. Most spiders can simply be outrun. |
