How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

King of Fighters: Maximum Impact - Maniax has no button codes. Everything is earned through Story mode and Challenge mode.

| Alternate costumes | Complete Challenge mode with a character to unlock their extra costumes. |
| Duke (playable) | Complete Story mode with both Alba Meira and Soiree Meira. |
| Fighter profiles and rigging models | Complete Story mode with a character to unlock their profile, which also lets you use their rigging model during gameplay. |
30-hit challenge tip: For the Challenge mission that asks for 30 hits, use Ryo's Whipslash Bash with a Light Punch, then follow up with his level 2 special.
Beating Duke with Mai: Keep the pressure on with combos such as Super Deadly Ninja Bees and Windwill Waster, and do not let Duke power up his most devastating attacks. Beating him in Story mode unlocks Mai's profile and rigging model.
Beating Duke in general: Sidestep the instant the fight begins to dodge his opening attack, then counter. Stay near the centre of the ring and block his power gauge attacks, which crush your guard, then punish him when he commits to a combo.
