How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

From the main menu go to Extras, then Cheats, and enter the following passwords to unlock the corresponding effect.

| PINT | Unlock all cars in Arcade and Custom modes. |
| RESP | Everyone respects you. |
| CREW | Unlock the full crew. |
| CHAR | Character test mode. |
| WIN. | Win all races. |
| ALL. | Activate all cheat codes. |
| CASH | Extra money. |
| CARS | Unlock all cars. |
Pre-release code note: Early press and demo builds used different passwords. PING unlocks all cars and tracks in Arcade mode, and FAST gives unlimited money. These do not work in the retail release, where PINT is the correct code.

| Prototype mods for all cars and the Extreme Nitrous Series | Reach 100% completion in Career mode. |
| All prototype parts for all cars | Finish the game with 100% respect (1,500 respect points) from every computer-controlled crew. |
| Bronze, Silver and Gold Prototype Challenge Series | Complete every series in Arcade mode except the Extreme Nitrous Series. |
| Amber (crew member) | Earn 350 respect from A.W.B. |
| Chief (crew member) | Earn 400 respect from the Vixens. |
| Vito (crew member) | Earn 650 respect from the Urban Maulerz. |
Pink slip races without losing respect: When another driver calls you out for a pink slip race, accept the challenge, then check the map to see exactly which race it is before committing your car.
