How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.
IndyCar Series 2005 has no traditional cheat codes on Xbox. The only documented secret is the Hard Charger award below, earned through racing.
Hard Charger award: Gain the most positions from your starting grid slot and win a quarter distance race. Push hard through the field early, as the award only counts if you take the victory as well.
