How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Hydro Thunder was never released as a standalone Xbox game, but the full arcade version is included in Midway Arcade Treasures 3 on the original Xbox. It has one famous password plus a set of boats and tracks earned through finishing positions.
All boats and tracks: Finish any track fast enough to reach the high score table, then enter ?PB as your initials to unlock every boat and track, including the Tiny Tanic. Some versions use ?DL instead.

| Cutthroat boat | Finish second place or better on all three medium tracks. |
| Castle Von Dandy track | Finish first place on all three hard tracks. |
| Armed Response boat | Finish first place on the Castle Von Dandy track. |
| Blowfish boat | Finish first place on the Hydro Speedway track. |
| Chumdinger boat | Finish first place on the Nile Adventure track. |
| Tiny Tanic boat | Place top three on all beginner tracks, top two on all medium tracks, first on all hard tracks, then first on the first three bonus tracks. |
Huge jump plus booster: On Lake Powell grab a booster before the section with the bridge and the policeman on top. Start boosting the moment you see the bridge and hit the middle of it for huge air, a nine second boost, and you will knock a train off its tracks in the process.
