How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

The Xbox version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone has no cheat codes. The tips below cover the hidden secrets and the trickiest fights.
Gargoyle Statues: Cast Lumos in front of the gargoyle statues found around the teachers' quests and they reveal hidden paths.
Hidden Items: Search every desk in the classrooms for Beans, Pumpkin Pasties, Cauldron Cakes, Stink Pellets and Wizard Cards. Desks restock each new day or night, so farm them and trade doubles with other students to complete the card collection.
Secret Passage: Leave the Gryffindor common room, turn right and crawl under the bookshelf to reach a shortcut to the fourth floor.
Invisibility Cloak: The cloak does not fool Prefects or Filch, so still avoid touching them. The upside is you lose no House Points if you are caught with it.
Venomous Tentacula: Run back and forth so it spits poison and misses, then cut off both arms with Diffindo and immediately the head. Finish with a charged Incendio before the arms regrow.
Devil's Snare: Fight it exactly like the Tentacula but it is much easier. Cut the arms and head, then burn it with Incendio while standing still.
Trolls: Stand on a Spongify tile, bait the troll into charging and bounce so it knocks itself out on the tile.
Quirrell and the Gytrashes: Hit each Mutated Gytrash with a charged Lumos while almost touching it. When Quirrell drops his blue shield to revive one, knock him down with Flipendo, then resume killing the Gytrashes.
Voldemort: Dodge the stone balls he levitates until they crash, then stand behind the mirror. Absorb his fire line with your shield until the blue swirl is huge, then release it with A. Four to six hits finishes him.
