How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on Xbox has no button or password cheats. Everything below is earned in-game, but these tips make beans, Wizard Cards and boss fights much easier.
Win a Nimbus 2000: On the second day of school you are sent to Quidditch practice. Complete the training with a B grade or higher and the captain gives you a Nimbus 2000. You can fly it around the castle grounds in daylight, but only take off and land at the marked spots.
Unlimited Bertie Bott's Beans: Whenever a jug or pitcher spits out beans, grab them, walk around the nearest corner and come straight back. The container refills every time, so repeat until your bean bag is full.
Bigger Bean Bag: On the second floor of the Grand Staircase, cut the tapestry and go inside the hidden room. Open the treasure chest with Skurge or Incendio to get the bean bag that holds 100 beans.
Bean Rings: With the Nimbus 2000 you can fly through coloured rings above Hogwarts. Blue rings are worth 10 beans, red 3, green 2 and yellow 1.
Quick Wizard Cards: Chests in the Burrow and Diagon Alley hide cards, and Neville's games in the grounds pay out cards fast. Gnome Dunking is free to play, while Broom Racing and Gnome Tossing cost beans.
Extra Treasure Chests: Once you know Incendio and own the Nimbus 2000, fly up and look down for open spaces on the castle roof. Land, light every candle with Incendio and a chest containing a Famous Witches and Wizards card appears. There are several of these spots on the roof.
Whomping Willow: When fighting the Whomping Willow to save Ron, stay as far from the branches as you can. Hit a branch while its light is green, then hit the eye of the tree. When it is nearly beaten, watch for boulders thrown by the left branch and dodge them before striking again.
Mullpepper's Apothecary: In the Diagon Alley shop, cast Flipendo at the vases on top of the bookcases to the left. They fall and reveal Chocolate Frogs, but keep clear so they do not land on you.
