How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Cheats in GTA IV are dialled into Niko's mobile phone. Press Up to raise the phone, Up again to bring up the keypad, type the number and call. You need to have done a couple of Roman's early missions before the phone accepts codes.

Quick re-dial: Once a code has been entered correctly, a Cheats option appears at the bottom of the phone menu. Select it to reactivate any previously dialled cheat without calling the number again.
Achievement warning: Some cheats block achievements in the current session, notably Cleaned the Mean Streets (health and weapons codes), and Finish Him, One Man Army and Walk Free (wanted level and helicopter codes). Keep a clean save if you still need them.
Weapons packs: Pack 1 gives a knife, molotovs, pistol, pump shotgun, Micro SMG, AK-47, combat sniper and RPG. Pack 2 gives a bat, grenades, combat pistol, combat shotgun, SMG, carbine rifle, combat sniper and RPG.
