Far Cry 2 Xbox 360 Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Far Cry 2 has no traditional cheats on Xbox 360, but it does have real promotional codes. At the main menu choose Additional Content, then Promotion Code, and enter a case-sensitive code below. The message You have successfully unlocked the missions confirms entry; each code unlocks some or all of the bonus missions The Georgian, The Bolivian, Special Delivery and Le Francais, which appear as Special Mission envelopes on the map legend after the tutorial.

Locating diamonds: Zoom a regional map all the way in and a tiny green or blue number shows how many diamond briefcases that zone contains, a huge help when hunting the 221 diamonds needed for the best gear.
Special machete: Connect to Xbox Live, open Additional Content, then Exclusive Content, and sign in with a Ubisoft account. Linking the account unlocks the Homemade, Modern and Primitive machete skins under Options, then Game, then Machete Type.
Fast travel: Bus stops let you jump instantly between stations you have already visited, saving long drives across the map.
