Fallout: New Vegas Xbox 360 Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Fallout: New Vegas has no traditional cheat codes on Xbox 360. Everything below is a glitch, exploit, unlockable or hidden item earned in game.
Unlimited caps: Find a merchant selling two copies of the same weapon or armour at different conditions. Buy the cheapest copy, sell it straight back and repeat. After a couple of cycles the copy in your inventory jumps to 100% condition while the merchant's stays low, so you can sell high and buy low until the merchant is cleaned out. Save first, as the game can crash mid-trade.
Easy experience (Bitter-Root): With 30 Speech and neutral or better NCR standing, talk to Sergeant Bitter-Root in the tents at Camp McCarran and ask about his name. You can repeat the Speech check over and over for XP each time.
Easy experience (HELIOS One): During That Lucky Old Sun, get Ignacio Rivas to reveal he is a Follower of the Apocalypse using Speech or Confirmed Bachelor, then finish the mission by routing power to Full Region Emergency Output. Afterwards tell him you overloaded the plant; that dialogue option never disappears and pays 350 XP, 3 Stimpaks and 2 Doctor's Bags every time you pick it.
Easy experience (Old Ben): With 50 Speech, persuade Old Ben, sitting by the fire near The King's headquarters in Freeside, to offer his services to the Atomic Wrangler for 61 XP. Follow him back to the bar, wait for him to sit down, and the same Speech challenge can be repeated as often as you like.
Easy experience (10 of Spades): With 20 Speech, ask 10 of Spades at Camp McCarran about Corporal Betsy. After passing the Speech check once, the greyed-out check can be reselected by alternating it with the unconscious option, and it still counts as a pass each time.
Casino XP: Playing roulette at any casino pays 100 experience points every spin, win or lose.
Easy stealing: Click the right stick on an owned item to pick it up without taking it, carry it out of sight, then crouch and press A while HIDDEN is shown to steal it with no reputation loss.
Karma-free kills: Drop a large movable object next to a standing NPC and run against it so it slides into them. The damage counts as environmental, so nobody turns hostile and you lose no karma.
Free repairs: With the Confirmed Bachelor perk, use the special dialogue option with Major Knight at the Mojave Outpost. He repairs items to your own Repair level free of charge, giving effectively unlimited free repairs.
Unlimited magazines: Bring medical supplies to Julie Farkas at the Old Mormon Fort. After donating once, open her supply list, buy the magazines, choose to donate again and pick Never mind to refresh the list. Repeat as often as you like.
Two 9mm SMGs in Goodsprings: With at least 25 Repair, pick up the broken 9mm SMG on the Sunset Sarsaparilla crate and repair it while repeatedly tapping the activate button; the glitch pays 20 XP and a second SMG.
Switching ammunition: With a weapon drawn, press Up to cycle between the ammunition types you are carrying for it.
Skip to the Strip: At Camp McCarran, crouch behind the wall by the vending machines and sneak up on the monorail door. Despite the warnings you can slip through and ride straight to the Strip, bypassing the credit check entirely.
Incendiary VATS trick: Load .50 MG incendiary rounds into the anti-materiel rifle and target an enemy in VATS; they burst into flames before the shot even lands.
All 37 gold bars in Dead Money: In the Sierra Madre vault, take every bar, read only the Vera entry on the desk terminal and convince Elijah to come down. Plant C4 at the far right stairway, press against the blue force field and detonate when he swaps places with you, then leave the way you came with bars worth around 390,000 caps.
Gun Runner farm: Pick the locked fence at the Gun Runners compound, wipe out the runners and loot thousands of caps worth of combat armour and rifles, then sell it all to the Vendortron. Wait three in-game days away from the area and the runners respawn for another harvest.
No roulette cooldown: Load a saved game while actively playing roulette and you can spin again immediately, useful for minimising lost chips.

Caravan partners: Cards and games can be found with Chet in Goodsprings (he also gives you your first deck), Ringo and Johnson Nash in Primm, Cliff Briscoe and No-bark Noonan in Novac, Blake at the Crimson Caravan, Isaac at the Gun Runners, Little Buster and Keith at Camp McCarran and Aerotech, Lacey at the Mojave Outpost, Jules in North Vegas, Old Lady Gibson at her scrap yard, Quartermaster Mayes at Camp Forlorn Hope, Poindexter at Camp Golf, Dale Barton at The Fort and Ambassador Crocker at the NCR Embassy, plus several prospector corpses.
Winning at Caravan: Build a 30-card deck with 6s through 10s, Kings, Jacks, Aces and two Jokers. Lay high or low cards to start the caravan base, use Kings to double a pile, and spend Jacks, Aces and Jokers to wreck your opponent's caravans. Aim for 22 to 26 on each track and never end a hand on 21 or 27.
Indiana Jones easter egg: About 100 yards south of Goodsprings a refrigerator sits at the base of a hill with a fedora-wearing skeleton inside, a nod to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Star Wars easter egg: To the right of Nipton's town hall entrance, two burned corpses lie in front of a burned-out building, echoing Luke finding Beru and Owen.
Monty Python easter egg: With the Wild Wasteland trait, a box of Holy Frag Grenades sits beneath a church in Camp Searchlight, a reference to the Holy Hand Grenade. Bring Rad-X, the town is irradiated.
Blade Runner easter egg: That Gun, sold in Novac's Dino Bite gift shop, is modelled on Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner.
Fisto caps trick: After completing Wang Dang Atomic Tango, find Fisto at the Silver Rush and refuse his services; he pays you 10 caps each time you say no, as often as you can be bothered.
Grease easter egg: With Wild Wasteland, three women in pink dresses calling themselves the Pink Ladies appear outside Cerulean Robotics after the Fisto quest.
Gold Pip-Boy: With Wild Wasteland, deal with the Omerta leaders for the NCR and tell Mick at Mick and Ralph's; he rewards you with a gold Pip-Boy.
Old World Blues easter eggs: Tell the Book Chute that destroying pre-war books is destroying culture for a nod to Orwell's 1984, and the quest that removes your brain, spine and heart mirrors the Wizard of Oz.
