Fable Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.
Fable has no cheat codes on Xbox. The exploits, unlockables and hints below are all done in-game, and most also work in Fable: The Lost Chapters.
Hero Save Exploit: In the middle of a quest, use a hero save and reload it. You restart at the beginning of the quest but keep every item gained on the last run, letting you repeat the Arena for money and experience or farm silver keys and potions. Do not overuse it, as it can corrupt your save.
Unlimited Skill Experience: During your Guild training as a teenager, Maze tests you after the three trials and asks you to hit him with melee attacks. Instead, take out your Yew Longbow, lock on and shoot him from a distance. He takes damage but never dies and you are not punished, earning thousands of skill experience points in minutes.
Frying Pan: Collect all six treasure clues, then go to Orchard Farm. At the first barn, dig between the barn wall and the bales of hay. Found without the clues it is useless; with them it does 100 damage and has augmentation slots.
Sword of Aeons: At the end of the game choose to kill your sister, then watch the credits through to keep playing with the massively powerful Sword of Aeons.
Continuous Play: Watch the credits at the end of the game to continue playing with your character afterwards.
Easy Demon Gate Race: Once you have the stick, find the boy who challenges you to run to the Demon Door and back in 50 seconds. Stand beside him and hit him with the stick to knock him forwards; repeat until Maze lectures you, then keep going. It cuts most of the distance out of the run and earns evil points too.
Easy Experience: After the mission where you rescue your mother, return to the Cliffside Path through Lychfield Graveyard where zombies spawn endlessly. Power up the Enflame spell and bring plenty of will potions to max out your character.
Stay Big From Berserk: Learn the Berserk spell, cast it, then save and reload. You will stay permanently huge. Casting Berserk again returns you to normal size when it wears off.
Treasure Clue Locations: Clue 1 comes from the grateful sister at the end of the Bounty Hunter quest. Clue 2 is given at the end of the Lost Trader quest. Clue 3 comes after killing the final assassin at Hook Coast. Clue 4 is the prize for winning the archery contest at Knothole Glade after the Break the Siege quest. Clue 5 is in a chest at Orchard Farm. Clue 6 is dug from a mound of dirt behind the windmill at Windmill Hill.
Cussing in Witchwood: At the Witchwood Cullis Gate, four stones each bear a letter and the Demon Door's name is HITS. Spell out the rude four-letter word instead and two Balverines will attack; spell it again and the voice pronouncing each letter will say the word.
