How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

ESPN NHL 2K5 keeps its cheats simple: one profile-name password unlocks everything in the skybox, and the rest is earned in-game.
All skybox bonuses: Create a new profile named LuvLeafs, case-sensitive, and everything in the skybox will be unlocked, from trophies to classic jerseys.
Hidden skills competitions: Successfully complete the skills competitions without using more than three continues during the entire mode, then hold Up while selecting Skills Competition to see the extra challenges.
Easy goal: When the goalie covers the puck for a face-off to the left or right of the net, hold the Analog-stick towards the net and press B instead of A as the puck drops for a quick shot the goalie rarely expects. On a breakaway, stay between the circles and turn sharply either way before shooting a wrist shot or backhand.
