How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

ESPN NFL 2K5's cheats are case-sensitive VIP names entered under the Manage option. Celebrity stadiums are unlocked by beating VIP opponents, and a few exploits help with the salary cap.

Barry Sanders: In franchise mode reach the Super Bowl, rush for more than 250 yards and win to unlock Barry Sanders, then sign him in the offseason as a regular player.
Easy crib credits: In franchise mode open Gamecast Live for a scheduled game, simulate to the fourth quarter, then choose Jump In and finish the game yourself for full credit.
Beat the salary cap: Edit a cheap third-string player into your created star by changing his name, stats and appearance. He plays at 100 overall but keeps a tiny salary.
Easy jukes: Flick the right analogue stick left or right for jukes, up for a stutter step and down for a stop-short move.
Easy sacks: Turn off all penalties, line up next to the quarterback on defence and sack him at the snap, or wait for the dropback for a bigger loss.
