How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Dynasty Warriors 5: Special was a Japan and Asia exclusive Xbox 360 release combining Dynasty Warriors 5 with Xtreme Legends content, plus new Gaiden and Shura modes. It has almost no documented cheats; the one verified secret is below.
Fire Orb: Defeat all of Master Lao's phantoms stationed at the castle's three outer gates in under three minutes to unlock the Fire Orb.
Other unlockables: Because the game folds in the full Dynasty Warriors 5 roster, its special items, harnesses and orbs are earned the same way as the original release, through hidden conditions in specific battles on the higher difficulty settings.
