Deus Ex: The Invisible War Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Deus Ex: Invisible War has no button codes on Xbox, but it hides one of the series' best easter eggs plus a set of unique weapon variants stashed across the maps.
Secret Wrap Party level: On Liberty Island, enter the underground UNATCO ruins and pick up the UN flag in the first large room, the ruined security checkpoint. Carry it to the office that used to belong to Joseph Manderly, stand the flag up in the bathroom and flush the toilet. You are transported to the developers' wrap party in Club Vox, and who attends depends on which characters you have killed.
Bleeding chair glitch: In Upper Seattle, the room where a guard sells you a pass has a chair directly under the security camera. Attack it with a gun or melee weapon and the chair bleeds.
More candy and soda: While hacking a vending machine, keep tapping X before the hack finishes and a second hacking screen appears, giving you another of the item. Does not work on ATMs.
| Item | Location |
|---|---|
| Toxin Blade | Upper Seattle, Emerald Suites apartment 2225, under the bedroom pillow; stabbing enemies briefly blinds them. |
| Red Greasel Hunter | Lower Seattle sewer, beside a dead Omar guarded by karkians; a stronger pistol with a red light secondary fire. |
| Hellfire Boltcaster | New Cairo first visit, Medina, Nassif Greenhouse, hidden in junk on a hard-to-reach upper ledge; enemies ignite when their health drops low. |
| Assassin Pistol | Trier, Nine Worlds Tavern, Der Blutende Rabe curio shop, in junk behind the Omar; more damage and range plus a scope, but a slower rate of fire. |
| Dragon's Tooth Sword | Antarctica, inside JC Denton's mind pocket replica of Maggie Chow's apartment, on top of the bookcase. |
| Widowmaker SMG | New Cairo second visit, Arcology level 107 maintenance tunnel, on a dead SSC guard past the sparking cables; less recoil and launches a spiderbomb as secondary fire. |
