Dragon Age: Origins Xbox 360 Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Dragon Age: Origins has no traditional button-code cheats on Xbox 360. The extras below are all earned in game, through exploits, or via the free Dragon Age Journeys browser mini-game.
Bonus items: Register an EA account and link it to your Dragon Age: Origins profile, then play the free Dragon Age Journeys flash RPG at www.dragonagejourneys.com. Completing the tasks below unlocks the matching item in Origins.
| Item | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| Amulet of the War Mage | Sign in to your EA account in Dragon Age Journeys. |
| Embri's Many Pockets | Save the Grey Warden Martine by completing The Missing Warden quest. |
| Helm of the Deep | Earn all five achievements in Dragon Age Journeys: The Deep Roads. |
Free Specialization books: Find a merchant selling the manual you want, save your game, then buy it to unlock the Specialization. Reload your save and the Specialization stays unlocked while your gold is refunded, and the book disappears from the vendor's stock.
Duplicate items: Place a stackable item in your Junk bag, visit a merchant and press the Sell All Junk and Sell buttons almost simultaneously (Y then A). Timed correctly you are paid twice the item's value; buy it back and repeat for easy gold.
Easy gold and XP: The Lothering quest Traps Are a Girl's Best Friend can be repeated endlessly for coin and experience. A title update removes the exploit, so it only works unpatched, and getting caught stealing in Lothering makes the quest giver refuse to talk to you.
Easy levelling: During Tainted Blood in Ostagar, collect the three vials of darkspawn blood but do not pick up the Grey Warden treaties. Tell Duncan, We have the blood, but not the scrolls, to gain experience, and repeat as often as you like.
Free supplies: In Redcliffe, convince the innkeeper to join the defence and the barmaid takes over, handing out the shop's stock for free. Travel to camp and back to refresh the shelves, an easy source of unlimited enhancement crystals for Shale.
