How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

The 2024 DOOM + DOOM II collection has real cheats on Xbox. Since the October 2024 update there is a Cheats screen in the pause menu, and typing the original PC codes in-game on a USB keyboard or chatpad permanently unlocks each toggle there. You can also unlock the whole set at once from the Gameplay Settings menu.

Typing codes: enter them during play, not in a menu. Each code typed once is added to the pause menu Cheats list, so you never need the keyboard again after the first unlock.
Achievements still work: cheats do not disable anything in this version, and toggling God mode is a popular way to mop up the notoriously tough Master Levels for DOOM II.
