How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down has no button codes on Xbox. Service medals are earned in online play by hitting the targets below, followed by a couple of mission tricks.

| Bronze Star | Get 1,000 kills. |
| Combat Medical Badge | Save the lives of three teammates as a medic. |
| Delta Cross | Get ten knife kills. |
| Distinguished Service Cross | Log five hours of play online. |
| Headhunters Medal | Get five headshots. |
| Hill Giant Medal | Spend 10 minutes on the Hill. |
| Infantry Badge | Get 50 kills. |
| Meritorious Service Medal | Win 10 out of 20 games. |
| Purple Heart | Get saved five times by a medic. |
Sniper rifle zoom: Click and hold the Right Analog stick to zoom to maximum with the sniper rifle. Alternatively hold R, then click and hold the Right Analog stick.
Easy Mogadishu Mile: As soon as the mission starts, run in front of the last AAV and jump onto its front for a free ride to the end of the mission. You stay on top when it speeds up, so you never have to catch the convoy on foot.
Team tag flag spots: Good places to take the flag online include the ledges along the garage entrance on Gasoline Alley, the top floor of the broken buildings on Black Hawk Down, and the trenches with M203s on Last Defense.
