Cricket 2005 Cheats
How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

EA Sports Cricket 2005 has no known cheat codes on Xbox. The tips below are the reliable ways to take quick wickets and keep the scoreboard moving.
Quick wickets: Bring on a medium or medium-fast bowler and place the marker just short of a good length, or slightly further back towards the bowler. Add inswing or outswing but drop the speed to two or three bars. The batsman plays a back-foot defensive shot and is eventually bowled or trapped LBW.
Bouncer trap: When a batsman is new to the crease, or against the tail-enders, bowl an inswinging bouncer with a medium-fast or fast bowler and place a fielder at deep third man for the catch.
Consecutive fours: While batting, step back so all three stumps are visible. If the ball pitches around off stump and is not too short, push the left stick diagonally down and away from the batsman and press B as the ball bounces. Most of these shots race away for four, though there is a small risk of being caught.
Six hitting: Bring in a left-handed batsman and aim for the leg-side boundary. The six-hit shot succeeds often, especially early in a one-day innings while fielding restrictions apply.
Test match patience: Do not rush for runs or you will throw your wicket away. Build an innings carefully and play the ball into the gaps.
Bowling variety: Use your full range of bowlers and vary pace, spin and which side of the wicket you attack from. Medium-fast and fast bowlers thrive on green pitches, spinners suit dry and dusty surfaces, and three or four slip fielders will catch the edges in Tests.
