How to use these cheats
Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Crash Nitro Kart has no button cheat codes on Xbox. Every extra below is earned through Adventure mode, Time Trial mode or the gem cups.
Unlockable drivers: Hidden characters are earned by winning gem cups, landing boosts or beating ghost times, as listed below.

| Zem | Win the Green Gem Cup in Adventure mode. |
| Dingodile | Win the Red Gem Cup in Adventure mode. |
| Polar | Win the Blue Gem Cup in Adventure mode. |
| Pura | Perform 50 consecutive boosts in one race as Team Bandicoot in Adventure mode. |
| Fake Crash | Perform 50 consecutive boosts in one race as Team Cortex in Adventure mode. N. |
| Tropy | Defeat all of the N. Tropy ghost racers in Time Trial mode. |
| Real Velo | Collect two Scepters in Adventure mode. |
| Emperor Velo | Complete the game 100 per cent as Team Cortex in Adventure mode. |
| Hyper Spaceway track | Finish first in all sixteen Adventure mode races, including the four boss races, then win Velo's challenge race. |
| Terra Drome arena | Collect all purple CNK tokens in Adventure mode races. |

Two of everything: The movie unlock conditions above apply to both the Team Bandicoot and Team Cortex Adventure mode campaigns, so each sequence exists once per team in the Extras menu.
