Conflict: Desert Storm Cheats

How to use these cheats

Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Conflict: Desert Storm has one hidden cheat menu on Xbox, unlocked with a button code at the main menu, plus a few useful in-game tricks.

Cheat mode: At the main menu press X(2), Y(2), click the Left Analog-stick twice, click the Right Analog-stick twice, then press L(2), R(2). There is no confirmation message. Start a game, pause and open the options screen to find the Cheats option, which offers Trooper Level, Enemy AI and Mission List settings. Do not set Trooper Level to Full, as a single bullet will then take half your life.

Change soldier colour: Blow a soldier up with a grenade and finish the level to swap his skin colour. He will lose experience, so do this early.

Easy stats for Foley: Pick a short, easy mission such as Safe Passage and repeat it about three times. If Foley keeps above 65 percent accuracy he gains a level, a promotion, a sniper skill star and possibly a service medal.

Healing fallen teammates: The moment a squad member drops, switch to the medikit and heal him with A to bring him back almost fully.

Destroying armour: Tank armour is weakest at the rear, so attack larger tanks from behind and hit smaller ones almost anywhere. With no rockets left, have a teammate throw smoke next to the tank, run in and plant C4 while crouched against the hull, then detonate it from cover. ZSUs can be blown up with sniper fire instead of wasting anti-tank rockets, leaving tanks to be painted for air strikes.

Final level: Before using the laser designator, plant mines in front of the building so the target is killed when he runs out, saving you the chase.
