Button names refer to the Xbox controller — A, B, X, Y, the LB/RB bumpers, LT/RT triggers and the D-pad. Unless told otherwise, enter codes from the pause or options menu, or while playing. Some cheats disable achievements for that save — keep a separate save before you start.

Enter these codes at the Code Entry screen under Secrets in the options menu, finishing with OK. Select an unlocked cheat in the list and press Right to turn it on. Each game disc has one of a few random access codes, shown on the Secrets screen, and only the codes matching your access code will work. Changing your access code: Delete the Colin McRae Rally 04 auto-save file from your Xbox and restart the game. When asked to enable auto-save, say yes and the game creates a new save file with a randomly generated access code. Repeat until you get a code that matches the lists below. Back up your save first if it has progress you want to keep.
